¶ Withdrawal Policy and Right of Withdrawal for TEIKEI Online Marketplace "Agora" – Sweden (as of 07/2025)
Consumer means any natural person purchasing goods or services for purposes that are predominantly outside their commercial or self‑employed professional activities.
TEIKEI operates under a solidarity-based model with reliably planned sourcing.
- Perishable goods, especially agricultural produce and food items, are excluded from the statutory right of withdrawal.
- This applies in particular to harvest shares, as they are reserved for members and included in production planning upon ordering.
- After the specified cut‑off date (visible on the ordering platform), orders cannot be cancelled or refunded.
- If a member cannot accept a delivery, they are responsible for transferring it within the TEIKEI community. TEIKEI does not provide refunds.
For non-perishable non-food items (e.g. accessories, packaging materials), consumers in Sweden have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of delivery.
- The withdrawal period begins the day after the goods are received, and ends 14 days later. If the period ends on a Saturday, Sunday or public holiday, it is extended to the next working day.
- The consumer must be informed clearly and in writing or electronically (including via email) about their withdrawal rights before the contract is concluded. Failing to provide this information extends the withdrawal period by up to 12 months.

- TEIKEI will refund all payments received, including standard delivery costs (excluding extras), within 14 days of receiving the withdrawal notice.
- The refund will be made using the same payment method used by the consumer, unless otherwise agreed. No fees may be deducted.
- The refund may be delayed until TEIKEI has received the returned goods or proof of their return.
¶ 6. Return of Goods and Liability
- The consumer must return the goods within 14 days of the withdrawal at their own cost, unless otherwise agreed.

- The consumer is liable only for depreciation resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to inspect the goods’ characteristics and functionality.
¶ 7. Legal Compliance and Enforcement
- This policy is based on the Swedish Act on Distance Contracts and Off‑Premises Contracts (SFS 2005:59) and related legislation.
- Terms that are less favourable than statutory provisions are unenforceable in Sweden.
- The Swedish Consumer Agency (Konsumentverket) and the National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) enforce consumer rights and issue binding or guiding decisions.
