Planetary boundaries describe the Earth's ecological load limits.
Within these boundaries, humans can live and operate economically without disrupting the natural foundations of life.
The concept was introduced in 2009 by a group of 28 scientists led by Johan Rockström.
The concept examines nine areas that keep the Earth system stable:
According to the Planetary Health Check 2025, seven of these nine boundaries have been exceeded.
In the TEIKEI Wiki, the concept is also applied to the region.
Each region has its own boundaries.

These boundaries are not obstacles.
They are the conditions of life.
An economy within planetary boundaries asks first:
What makes sense under these conditions?
Only then does the question arise:
How can people align their nutrition with this?
Several terms in the glossary build on this idea:
This standard also applies to digital tools: Ethical Intelligence names respect for planetary boundaries as part of its framework.
