TEIKEI Fruit connects small-scale farmers with people who want to source high-quality, seasonal, and sustainably produced fruit directly from the farms. Our goal is a responsibility chain that places ecological sustainability and social justice at its core. Profits are not extracted—they circulate within the network and benefit all participants. To achieve this, we adapt the principles of Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) to a Europe-regional context.
The first fruits for TEIKEI Fruit were harvested in 2018 in Greece, grown by small-scale farmers who are committed to regenerative agriculture. TEIKEI Fruit supports the farms in cultivation and quality assurance, as well as in social and economic matters. Through harvest shares, we create long-term partnerships as a community, providing planning security: farms can align their work with the needs of members, and together we ensure fair financing and the purchase of the entire harvest. In short: the farmers care for the members—and the members care for the farmers.
Once a month, the fruits are harvested, loaded directly at the farm, and transported by the shortest route to Germany, Switzerland, and, more recently, Sweden. In the future, more of this transport will shift to rail—as a symbol of a European community creating sustainable structures for future generations.
Members receive fresh, seasonal, and unpackaged TEIKEI fruit. It convinces not only through its taste but also through what lies behind it: fair, transparent, and solidarity-based economic practices. TEIKEI Fruit is therefore much more than a fruit box—it is a piece of community-supported economy that rethinks agriculture, trade, and nutrition.
