Transparency at TEIKEI doesn’t just mean knowing where a product comes from—but also the stories, practices, and people behind it. Since 2014, we have been developing a system that understands traceability not just technically, but as relationship-based.
For the upcoming harvest, the first fully integrated version will go online. It will:
What’s particularly important: Traceability doesn’t just work in one direction—from the farm to the member. The reverse is also visible: which communities, hubs, or pickup locations are connected to which farm. Producers thus gain insight into where their products are delivered, who supports their work, and with whom they are part of a larger supply structure.
This creates a complete, two-way system: the Dual Traceability App. It enables:
For us, traceability is a cultural process: making visible what is connected—and building trust where responsibility is taken.
