TEIKEI deliberately organizes deliveries as a community. This reduces transportation routes, conserves resources, and enables the development of a solidarity-based logistics structure. For this reason, individual shipping is not available for many products – most orders are handled through so-called pickup points, where members collect their products once a month themselves.
1. Ordering
Members place their order via the TEIKEI Agora platform and select a pickup point.
2. Deadline
All orders for the respective delivery month must be completed by a deadline.
Orders for future months can still be placed after this – the deadline applies only to the immediately upcoming delivery.
3. Delivery and distribution
Goods arrive collectively at a central distribution warehouse – for example in Freiburg or Basel. There, deliveries are sorted and forwarded to the respective pickup points.
4. Pickup
Goods are delivered to the distribution warehouses by the last Wednesday of the month. From this point on, distribution to the pickup points begins. Depending on the distance of the pickup point from the distribution warehouse, delivery can take one to three days. The actual pickup therefore takes place between Wednesday and Friday – each ordering community sets the exact times individually and arranges them according to when the goods arrive.
Reduced traffic:
Delivery to central locations saves transportation miles and reduces emissions.
Stronger community:
Joint organization and pickup strengthen social cohesion and mutual trust.
Direct sourcing:
Products come directly from farms in Greece and are delivered without intermediaries.
Transparent pricing:
Logistics costs are openly visible and shared collectively.
If there is no pickup point in your region yet, you can start one together with others. The TEIKEI community supports you with experience, structural help, and guidance in setting it up.
