In November 2024, we celebrated the 10th anniversary of TEIKEI—not with a grand stage, but with a long table, a shared meal, and deep conversations in the olive grove of Skoura.
Originally, the anniversary was planned to take place immediately after the international networking meeting "Seeds of Unity." However, logistical challenges and the simultaneous harvest season led us to improvise at short notice—and travel to the olive mill of Nikos and his brother in Skoura.
Despite the spontaneous decision, a lively celebration emerged: farmers from Skoura and Nafplio, delegates from Germany and Switzerland, and members of the Seeds of Unity core team came together. Giannis, a friend and chef from Kalamata, prepared the festive meal, which was served with regional specialties and plenty of heart. Fruit farmers from Nafplio contributed produce, music filled the space under the protective roof of the mill while rain fell outside—as if on cue, giving the press a break.
It was an evening full of warmth, gratitude, and vision. The conversations were not just about looking back, but also about the future: How can small-scale, rural structures be strengthened? What does real support mean—not as a concept of aid, but as relationship-building?
A short speech, a chocolate cake, good wishes: "To the next 100 years," was the toast of one farmer. And that’s exactly what was felt: these first 10 years are not the end of a chapter, but the beginning of an even deeper connection with the people and soils to which TEIKEI feels bound.
A celebration born of the moment.
A fire of friendship.
A gaze beyond generations.

💬 "Let’s do this more often."
– That was the sentence with which many left this special evening.
