📌 Current system (since October 21, 2026): Organizers receive a credit of 5% of the purchase price for each distributed box. Stores and farms that also serve as pickup locations receive 10%.
Those who help maintain a pickup location or organize a purchasing group take on an important role in the TEIKEI network. People keep a location open, are available for questions, coordinate deliveries, support members, move boxes, and ensure that distribution runs smoothly. This work should be visible and recognized. That’s why there are credits for organizers.
How to read the image: The pie chart shows the total price of an 8 kg orange box for members: €24.13 according to the price table. This is an example calculation; other boxes have different amounts. Each slice represents a portion of this price:
Stores and farms that also serve as pickup locations receive an additional 5% of the purchase price as a partner location contribution (€0.48). This is not included in the price for members. The amounts are rounded.
The purchase price of a box is what the farm and packing house receive for the goods: producer price including packing. A fixed portion of this amount goes to the people who distribute the box locally.
| Who | Share of the purchase price | Credit type |
|---|---|---|
| Private organizer of a purchasing group | 5% (organizer contribution) | Type 6 |
| Store or farm that also serves as a pickup location | 10% (5% organizer contribution and 5% partner location contribution) | Type 7 |
Example calculations (purchase prices from the price table for Germany; they vary depending on the harvest and month):
| Box | Purchase price | Organizer (5%) | Store or farm (10%) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Oranges, 8 kg | €9.52 | €0.48 | €0.95 |
| Mixed citrus box, 8 kg | €12.90 | €0.64 | €1.29 |
| Avocados, 4 kg | €16.00 | €0.80 | €1.60 |
If an organizer distributes 18 orange boxes in one month, that amounts to 18 × €0.48 = €8.64.
A standard for all components. Every component in the price of a harvest share is calculated as a share of the purchase price: the fund for farms, the contribution for the TEIKEI Agora, network support, and the contribution for local organization (operational support). This keeps the price structure consistent and transparent for everyone.
Visible in the price. The organizer contribution is included in the price of the harvest share. Every member can see which part of their price goes to local organization. There is no hidden markup.
It grows with what is moved. The more boxes a pickup location distributes and the larger the boxes, the higher the credit. An 8 kg box yields more than a 4 kg box of the same type.
Same in Germany and Switzerland. The share is the same in both countries. Fixed amounts per box would have to be set individually for each country and box size and adjusted with every price change.
Stores and farms contribute more. Those who serve as a store or farm pickup location also provide space and infrastructure and make the products visible locally. For this, they receive an additional partner location contribution on top of the organizer contribution.
Honesty also means: For more expensive boxes, the credit is higher, even if the work on site is similar. However, the calculation is simple, the same for everyone, and part of the same open price structure.
Until October 2026, private organizers received a fixed amount per picked-up box: €2 in Germany and CHF 2.50 in Switzerland. Stores and farms received €2.50 or CHF 5.00 per box, respectively. This page previously explained why the credit should be based on the effort on site rather than the value of the goods. This rule no longer applies.
